Two comments on the name...Fantastic research Mihai! Two comments on the names that came to mind: 1. Rusiel plays an important role in the exorcism tradition of Rabbi Chaim Vital that I quote from in Magnus Liber Sigillorum (section 263). 2. Mariel is considered the "prince of the flask" and used in מעשה הצלוחית -the operation of the flasks.
