Planetary seals of Benhensatrus (1)

The following seals appear in the work ”Of the Planetary Seals of Benhensatrus, an Indian King and Philosopher” (De Sigillis Planetarum Benhensatri Eines Indianisch Königs und Philosophi) a manuscript made available by the SLUB Dresda  and which can be found here: Mscr.Dresd.N.105 (many thanks to Daniel Clark and QiRui Huo for bringing it to my attention).

About Benhensatrus, Behencatrus, Rehencatricus,  a purported disciple of Apollonius of Tyana and king of India,  I'll write more further on, when time permits and in-depth study.

Trimthemius , antipalus: 

[43] Et est liber VII planetarum figurarum Geberi regis Indorum qui numeris includit septem nomina Dei, quemadmodum auctor in principio sermonis sui promittit, et sic incipit: Antiqui sapientes et philosophi in astronomia


[48] Item est alius liber Behencasin, praenotatus de sigillis VII planetarum, qui sic incipit: Saturnus habet in metallis plumbum, qui etc.
