72 Seals of the Shemhamephoresh (Wellcome Ms.4662)

After my former post o the 72 pentacles, I've come across a wealth of manuscripts that might contain them, thanks to wonderful people like Jérémie Segouin, Ora Clavis, QiRui Huo and Daniel Clark.

As I understand, there is a work in development by my friend Jérémie Segouin (whose generosity always leaves my astounded).

These two articles are, as far as I know, the first instance of these pentacles being published (The 72 pentacles drawn by Eliphas Levi are largely different). If I am mistaken, I'll be very thankful for any correction you readers might have.

I decided to keep the post clean of page references and notes on the numbering, and simplu order the pentacles after the orthodox order of the angels, whilst keeping the spellings. For the sake of precision and academic curiosity, I ve included the original pages (cropped and enhanced) below:

Oh and, if you could stop publishing these graphics in your books and making cheap talismans on etsy, without even mentioning the source, It'll  be great...  If you chose to do so, please know that the full wrath of the 72 will come upon you and haunt your dreams and gnaw at your flesh until Judgement Day :D

If you find this helpful, share it or consider becoming a patron, in order to keep this free resource going with as much new material as possible. Thank you.

    1. You can find the manuscript here: https://wellcomecollection.org/works/j3ng8p39 If you wish to ask about a comparison, please give me the link to the said manuscript. Ambelain did not come up with anyting. As far as I know he reproduced Blaise de Viginere s seals.
